About Tirana International Airport

Rinas Airport, called today Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza, was constructed over a period of two years, from 1955 to 1957.The mission of TIA is to provide Albania with a prestigious international aviation facility, offering efficient, safe and first-class services for passengers and airlines.

As of 2023 TIA announces a significant milestone, having served a remarkable 7,257,634 passengers throughout the year 2023.

Continuing its role as a vital gateway connecting Albania to key global destinations, Tirana International Airport remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering excellent services, fostering tourism, and contributing significantly to the overall progress of the region and economy.
